We provide a comprehensive and mandatory handgun safety course in accordance with New York State regulations. Our goal is to equip individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to safely handle handguns while adhering to New York legal requirements.

We offer two types of classes, a weekend class and an evening class, providing flexibility and convenience for students. Our curriculum consists of 16 hours of classroom instruction and an additional 2 hours for range qualification. Students will be guided through various topics, including the application process, safe storage laws, handgun operation, firearm safety, carry and transport laws, conflict management, and more.

We are committed to delivering high-quality instruction in a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped learning environment. Our classrooms are safe, well-lit, and conveniently located with free off-street parking. We provide all necessary materials, including training handguns, ammunition, eye and ear protection, and application forms. At the conclusion of the course, students will be required to pass a written exam and a shooting qualification with a minimum score of 80%. Successful participants will receive a certificate of completion.

We prioritize the safety and security of our students and the community. Individuals who are prohibited by law from accessing a handgun, such as those with felony or domestic violence convictions, drug users, fugitives from justice, or recent DWI convictions, are not eligible to attend or apply for our course. As an organization, we do not offer refunds for the course, and we ensure transparency in our policies and procedures.
